Research Interests

Catalytic conversion of biomass derived compounds to valuable chemicals, lignin extraction and upgrading using heterogeneous catalysts; designing processes and catalysts for the upgrading biomass-derived compounds to value added products; valorize all fractions of biomass; controlled synthesis of bimetallic catalysts; solvent effects on biomass upgrading reactions; production of sustainable aviation fuel.
