Dr. Canan Sener’s research program is centered on advancing sustainable solutions for converting lignocellulosic biomass into high-value fuels and chemicals. The primary goal of her work is to develop a seamless, integrated biomass-to-bioproduct processing chain that combines both chemical and biological processes. This innovative approach seeks to improve the efficiency, scalability, and economic feasibility of next-generation biorefineries.
